I have nothing but positive things to say about UT. The administration was always helpful and you don't have to cut through a ton of red tape to get things done like at bigger universities. My classes were small and the professors were for the most part, great. In grad school I was much better prepared than some students from more prestigious schools. And the social life cannot be beat. UT was definitely the most fun four years of my life. And really, who needs a football team when you have Gasparilla? Greek life is great here if that's what you're into, but not such a big presence on campus that you're excluded if you don't join. There is a certain mold of student that UT attracts and I think most of the students who've given negative reviews here didn't feel like they fit in or had trouble adapting to college. You'd have to try really hard not to have a great experience at UT, it's a great school and I am SO glad I went here. I've been to several other schools since then, and none of them compare.
