College of Charleston is the school I wanted to go to ever since I came to visit my Jr. year of High school. The campus is beautiful, there is so much to do in Charleston, and its a Liberal Arts School. Being that it is a Liberal Arts school there is more emphasis on undergrads and freshmen more than anything. There are a ton of resources available to you, you just have to find them. Which can be the tricky part. I am involved with the Crew(Rowing Team)and this has consumed my social life, because it is a competitive sport. If I wasn't on this team there are so many other events and clubs that I could be apart of. There is a huge variety of clubs available; film club, Cougar activities board, Belly dancing club, etc. Students here are clicky, but you will find them everywhere. The faculty I could always speak highly of. Last semester I broke my right elbow, I could not take notes in my classes or take tests. All of my professors bent over backwards to make sure that I had everything that I needed to continue on through this semester. Of course they are not here to baby you, so I had to work really hard, but if it wasn't for the professors, I am not sure if I would have made it though the year.
