Seems like a disgruntled int'l student who didn't know what to expect out of an American college, especially one in the SEC, and one with plenty of money being thrown around. |
Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
This is a research university. You will be a number. The student body is terribly confused about what they wish to major in, and the liberal arts core that we must complete (AXLE) that is supposed to help us decide actually confuses us all more than anything. One must take a few courses in each category (math and science, humanities, perspectives, social sciences, etc.), which simply leads to a haphazard, disjointed quilt of courses. You will not be inspired if you come here because this campus is a busy campus - everyone is simply busy but nobody knows why, and the university doesn't feed your young soul. If you like to party and drink beer and you have plenty of money to waste, you can take my place. I regret my decision to come here, and I am not being educated in the slightest. My language skills haven't even improved. I just feel stressed, dissatisfied, and confused.
