Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I have studied Computer Science and Engineering for three times here as an international student and it was just plain awesome. Not all the teachers are very updated on their fields but you'll learn a lot from the ones that are on the bleeding edge. The city has been the US top safest for a few years and there are some of the nicest beaches of the country just a 10 min bike ride far away. The city in general is pretty relaxed and easy to fit in.Food is not quite cheap, hard to expect cheap prices in the OC but some times you'll find that off-campus food might be even cheaper which is a bit unacceptable for us tight-budget students.
