I am very happy that I went to The University of Toledo; I have gotten a lot out of it. However, it does trouble me with the amount of trouble the financial department puts on my friends and I. It seems every semester something new is happening that we need to fix before school starts. Toledo's surroundings are very poor as well, causing a lot of trouble to UT students however the University is actively solving these problems by bringing new business around the University. One thing I would like to see the University take more of an initiative on its greek life. This has been the most enjoyable part of being at the University. It has gotten me involved in Relay for Life, Race for the Cure, Dance Marathon, Habitat for Humanity, and many more. With this I have been able to triple the amount of contacts I have with companies. As far as my education has gone, I have liked all of my engineering courses. Most professors are willing to put their time into helping you understand the material, whether that be during their lunch time or just extending their hours a little later one night a week. Another positive to the engineering program at the University is their outstanding co-op program. This program allows students to get experience and contacts while they are in school. As I am approaching my graduation I am thrilled to say I have no worries on finding a job or not because this institution as provided me with everything I need.
