Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
As with any college, U.T. is really what you make of it. I know some people that flat out did not like it here, and hearing their rational I completely agree. The city of Toledo… is pretty rough. While there are some areas (Mudhens Games/Imagination Station/Clubs and Bars) where you really can go out and have a good time, there is a lot of run-down houses and "bad neighborhoods" to put it lightly. I however, LOVE it here. I'm entering my Junior year with a double major in Accounting and Finance and my course work, as well as my extra-circulars (professional/honors fraternity) is really helping put me onto the road to success. My advice is to take a visit, and see if you like it. If you don't, there's plenty of other options, but if you are as excited to be a rocket, stick around! By the way, I really dislike the administration, and I feel like Loyd Jacobs is a crook. Also, RAISE ADMISSION STANDARDS!!! We have great programs in pharmacy/engineering, but the rest of the colleges suffer from stoners that get in and never go to class!
