I wanted to warn all liberal minorities to not attend the University of Texas at Austin if liberalism, progress, and individualism are very important to you. UT Austin has such alluring and deceitful marketing and advertising campaigns to make their city and campus appear to be good for everybody. What they really want is people with money to use and exploit for greedy and hostile purposes. And despite talk and positive marketing featured on UT Austin's website minorities are not treated fairly or with respect. I experienced a lot of hostility. And Office for Institutional Equity and Ombudsman do not take complaints seriously. The employees are flippant and snide and they have a very unprofessional attitude. They use obfuscation and misleading comments to anger and confuse you (the victim). It is all contrived and deliberate to force you out of UT Austin. UT Austin employees do not like students who speak up or complain at all. They will not help you if you are a minority with a concern or a complaint. But every student does have the right to file a formal complaint by using forms that can downloaded and printed off of the UT Austin website. Anybody can complain to Office for Civil Rights: Department of Education if they feel they were treated with hostility and abuse because of the protected class status. Some of the minorities (Latinos, blacks, gays, etc.) who work there are turncoats or hypocrites who hate their own minority group despite lies and misleading comments. They are there to make the university appear progressive and tolerant. White supremacy is a sleeping giant, or rather a sleeping monster, at UT Austin. White males and white females are the most powerful groups at UT Austin. They do dominate everything and expect minorities to bow down to them. Hegemony and social stratification are severe problems at UT Austin. And that has a very negative and depressing affect on minorities. Doublespeak and political correctness are extremely common amongst almost every single student and UT Austin employees. They will tell you they are "tolerant" of "gays" "Jews" "blacks" and "Latinos"; however, constant usage of doublespeak hides their hatred for minorities and the GLBT population (Gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered). Stay away from this campus. In my experiences the academics were horrible and extremely pedantic. The culture was even worse because they expect conformity and uniformity. I was constantly belittled and questioned by my peers which is antithetical to "liberalism" and "intellectual pluralism." The so-called competition amongst students is absurd, hokey, and hostile and in no way does it encourage learning, progress, or innovation. UT Austin is redneck and extremely backward for it being 2010. Do not let the liberal facade and "tolerant" semblance fool you. The white Anglo conservatives and religious psychopaths still rule Austin, Texas despite pretentious protestations that everything there is liberal and gay friendly. It's called hegemony i.e., the ruling clique has power over all other groups whether you like it or not. Stay out of Austin, Texas. And research gang stalking. It's real. It happens.

questionDid you actually attend the University of Texas? Which department were you in?
responseWhat?? Who wrote this review? It's so far from the truth I don't even know where to begin!
response^ It's extremely well written, though! That's a refreshing change on this website, LOL.
responseYes, I admit it is fairly well written and the reviewer uses fairly sophisticated vocabulary. However, I he/she still seems maladjusted and even paranoid. Gang stalking?! really?! Give me a break!
