Oh Loyola…I transferred from the University of Iowa to the sheltered bubble that is loyola. You know how people tend to use filler words such as "like" or "you know" or "um" to describe something? When I describe Loyola I find that I cannot come up with any other words other than "introverted" "sheltered" "boring" "socially awkward" "um" "uhhh" "lame". Truth be told college is what you make it, when I was at Iowa it was not hard to find a fun time. Students at Loyola spend almost all of their time studying in their dorms. It is Hard to find fun, the city of Chicago is great but it is simply not enough. IF you want your college experience to consist of studying and getting a degree then by all means go to Loyola. IF you feel college should be more than just academics, IF you feel like college is an opportunity to grow, IF you feel like college is an opportunity to have fun DO NOT GO TO LOYOLA.
