Class SizeSome classes were big, other classes were small. In most of my classes, I was on a speaking basis with my teachers. Once you get more into your degree your classes will usually become smaller and you'll start to see the same people. I still keep in touch with some of my professors from the College of Music even though now I'm living in California.Social LifeI had fun, I don't know about everyone else. It's all about finding your niche. North Texas is so big with such a diverse group of individuals. You should be able to find a group of people you can chill with. I was pretty versatile. I had my dorm friends, my college of music friends, my bible study friends…There's a lot of cool people thereDormsI lived in an all girls dorm for all 4 years. (not many people can say that) The first two years I stayed in Maple and then I stayed in Crumley. I did not want to live with guys. They stink. :) I had a suite bath which I loved. Crumley doesn't have a cafeteria so we usually ate at Maple Hall, but sometimes we would go to Clark or KerrSchool SpiritI must admit this was a little lacking. Of course after I left, the football team decided to start winning games. From everything I hear, school spirit and the winning seasons are on the comeback at UNT and I'm happy about that. It's about timeWhat I Miss MostMy friends - we used to think of the craziest things to do to have funBeth Marie's Ice Cream - it's the best. You have to try itPerforming at the Murchison - again, the College of Music is awesome. You will play with some really talented people24 Hour Walmart - there aren't any close by in Los AngelesLast ThoughtsWhen I first came to North Texas, I thought I would never like Denton. It was too small, too country, and I didn't know anybody. Four years later, I was ready to go, but really sad to leave. I have some wonderful memories, and am very appreciative to the lessons I learned. It really is a great place to go to school.
