What can I say? I love this school. Classes are fair, yet challenging, the city is beautiful, the people are laid back. I think there's a place for everyone here. Although I would not recommend going here if you can't handle the party scene. It can be a shocker to people that aren't used to seeing/living that lifestyle and it is a trap that many people fall into especially their early years. That would account for the high dropout rate the first year. Overall, as long as you are relatively friendly and open minded, then it is easy to make friends and fit in whether you are outgoing, shy, a partier, religious, artsy, athletic, or anything else.I would suggest that freshmen coming into this college should look into joining a learning community because it allows you to live with people that are taking similar classes than you and it definitely helps with staying focused and meeting people with similar academic pursuits. It kind of has a family type atmosphere too and is comforting for new students.
