University of North Texas has so much potential to be a fantastic school and at times is very underrated. It does offer a lot more than The University of Texas in Austin, however, if you are a minority you will face discrimination and abuse. Most of the time the abuse comes from some high stressed instructor who is earning her doctorate degree at the same time.

The students are intelligent and participate in class discussion, however, their maturity and social skills are pathetic and are at the level of snot nosed junior high kids, sometimes the professors and staff act that way too.

UNT has its disadvantages such as not having an amazing football team like the long horns, however, UNT surpasses UT at Austin in just about every other way. UT at Austin is about making money and flaunting their image. UNT is more about teaching and education but the culture is backward and primitive.

Go figure on that one.
