Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
Although, I have only attended Axia Online for 5 weeks now, the instructors as well as the advisors have been nothing but friendly and extremely helpful. I am a 19 yr old mother of one, very devoted to my family, education and future career in communications, therefore a lot is riding on my education here at Axia. My experience has been amazing so far. It's convenient in the sense that I am a stay at home mom, but I also need to stay focused, motivated and work hard just as you would in any other University or Community College. Also, I agree with some of the other people that stated on here that "you can tell the difference between the negative reviews by children as opposed to adults." I find this to very true. You can tell the difference between the people who are seriously working hard for their education rather than those who aren't self-motivated enough to really complete their degree. I know I am only 19 but I am also a young mother, so again a lot is riding on this for me .. I have to provide for my child in the best way that I can and this is the route I decided to take..so it's sad to read all the negatives about this school being that most of the comments were posted by people who just flat out didn't pay attention to the rules or didn't work hard enough and ended up nowhere. People have issues with colleges and universities all over the place so why is everyone pointing their finger at UOP?? I have researched reviews on other schools and have found equally disturbing information .. in conclusion .. if people were 100% serious about their education then maybe you wouldn't be where you are today .. questioning your experience at UOP..you only get as much as you give people..so just try harder next time.
