If you want to come to nyu you have to be fiercely independent and thick skinned. NO ONE will cater to you here, if you want something you have to go out and get it. Don't expect anyone to hold your hand. If you want to get into a certain class, go talk to your professor. If you want a rocking social life, go out and get one. Anything is possible here..anything! You could focus on studying or party hard, or you could do both. You can do whatever you want here.
