Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time)
I decided to attend Axia for my Associates degree in Criminal Justice. I want to obtain a position as a Criminal Psychologist when I am done with my education. I received my Associates and now am about to start my third class for my BA in Psychology.

University of Phoenix is like any other traditional college. I am not on campus but am taking all classes online. It's not an easy college by any means and you work hard or you basically fail. Every college has some pitfalls including people who do not do their jobs. Most people these days do not have a good work ethic and fortunately for me, I haven't had this problem with UOP. The staff have always been professional and courteous to me. If I ask for something to be done, it's done in a timely manner. I have had some GREAT counselors both academic and financial and whenever I had a question, it would be answered within a day whether it was via email or phone call.

This college has been accredited for years and is accepted by employers all over the country. It's not a run of the mill education as the work load is more work than I have ever done in any other school. It's not Oxford, Penn State, or Harvard, but it is a degree. The educational part isn't any less than any other university.

I would recommend this school to anyone on a time restraint who is SERIOUS about school. These programs are mostly self study and once you accept that fact, classes will run a lot smoother for you. I have learned a lot in the last 2 years and will continue to learn. Also be prepared to actually work for this degree. It is not always easy.

I also would not recommend this school for those who NEED an instructor in front of you. Especially for math classes. I am horrible at Math and have one more class to go which I will be getting a tutor for.
