UT is great. They have done tons of improvement on campus in the past 10 years (I grew up in Tampa, so I've seen the before and after).UT started as a good, solid school, but was mostly known only in Tampa. But over the past 10 years, it has really come up in the rankings and credibility. I think the only thing holding back UT is the city of Tampa. It's too small to earn a reputation like Emory University or UF. However, all the ingredients are there, and as I said before, people have been taking notice of UT in the past decade.I don't live on campus, but my friends dorms are really nice. There are a TON of beautiful people here from "up naath" and have a lot of cash, but once you get to know them, they are your best friends. My advice would be to come to UT if you want to focus on academics over the party life. Don't get me wrong, we can party with the best of them at UT, but that's not what it's all about here. Now that UT is a top tier school, I hope it keeps improving. My degree is going to be worth more and more as UT continues to gain a reputation.
