Vanderbilt has unfairly earned its reputation as somewhat of a "rich kid party school". This is far from the truth! Students at Vanderbilt are interesting, involved, engaging, charismatic, concerned and spirited. The university has a great wealth of resources, and while there is definitely a great social scene, the quality of education available to those who seek it is on par with any other leading university.

questionHey Man,
I a sophomore at a high school in Tennessee, and I have wanted to go Vandy for some time now though I still have an open mind to some other colleges. I was looking on this StudentsReview website, and everyone seems to be dogging and bashing Vandy as a place for a bunch of snobby rich kids and the Greek rule the campus. You seem to not be so negative. I am currently the valedictorian of my class and I have considered majoring in architecture and community development. Do you think Vanderbilt would be good for me or should I look somewhere else?

Thanks,

A Concerned High School Student
