I was amazed at how much I learn during my time at UOP gaining a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Technology. There was a good deal of hard work involved and sometimes I wondered if I would ever get done… or survive, but I came away with a great educational experience.

If there is one piece of advice I could give a new students, it would be to learn all you can. Dig in with both hands and make the best of your college experience. You don’t really get a chance to be this focused, to dedicate yourself this completely to learning again, unless you go back for your Ph.D., which I’m going back for in this summer.

I’ve spent the last three years applying my thesis to a classroom environment and it has been wonderfully rewarding. I have also had the added benefit of making more money. The degree itself is worth something on the pay scale as are the credits. Having a Master’s also give you “trump”, the ability to have people sit back and take your ideas seriously, because you’ve done the work necessary to know what you’re talking about.

This is my 9th year as an educator and I would recommend UOP to anyone seeking to advance their professional ability, money making capability or just to learn and have an exciting stimulating educational experience. Pick your reason, this is a good way to go.
