Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
The psychology program at Loyola has been so interesting for me. I actually enjoy going to my classes. Yes, Psych stats, and research methods can be a little boring, but they are neccesary. I think it is really cool that you can select one of three Psych tracts within the program so you get an education that is geared toward what you like. Though I don't think I will get further education in psych, I feel very prepared to go into something like teaching, events management, organizational training. Anytime I felt lost, all I had to do was tell my professor and they would help get me back on track. The core classes can seem useless, but take them for what they are and you might actually learn a lot. I also hear that the philosophy program is a lot of fun since some of the professors are so smart they are downright crazy.
