AU is located in Washington, DC an amazing city in its own right, but because we have a campus you have the best of both worlds. There are so many things to do both on campus and in the city that you'll never be bored.

The professors here help to make AU an academically challenging, but exciting environment. AU offers a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical experience. AU's environment is tolerant and accepting, allowing students to come out of their shell.
Graduates of American University have a real competitive edge over everyone else. It is amazing how many opportunities we offer!
