Super Brilliant
Courses are rather boring and predictable, not much flexibility unless it's a pre-req course, a lot of foreign student's get into classes and they can barely speak English, let alone do the work. Teachers are nice, but not creative. Mostly rely on the book and a powerpoint.

Going to nursing school was the best thing I have ever done, besides giving birth to my children. HACC has an excellent nursing program and an excellent reputation in the nursing field.

I grew up in the area, so I always considered HACC to be the equivalent of "Grade 13" rather than a place to gain a genuine undergraduate degree. For that reason, it took me several years of working in the "real world" before I decided to go back and begin work on my AS.

The truth is I was quite wrong. Though the first semester or two was pretty well saturated with a younger crowd who really didn't value their education, once I hit my major classes things really started to smooth out and brighten up. Not only were most of the instructors intelligent, interesting, and devoted to their work, but I learned a few things about myself in the process.I'd sincerely recommend anyone who lives in the area who wants to not only learn a new skill but also develop a solid work ethic seriously consider getting a degree from HACC.
