From bad to worse! The school was unorganized before and now with the new dean the administration and faculty are less helpful because they are all scared. The new dean is insulting to students at crits and yells at faculty in front of students. This is the crazyist scene I have ever seen. Run--Don't walk!

Are you kidding me? Expensive and very unorganized. the instructors have questionable experience and are rude and condescending. I don't think they're hireable, especially not Alan. I wouldn't go to this school again if I could start over. i regreat it. The school is in a bad area. There isn't a cafe or anyplace to eat or park. No job skills are really taught, it is mostly theory. Recently NAAB visited the campus and gave of a 3 of 31 points. the administration is a mess, they're unhelpful idiots.

First, NewSchool is a for profit architectural university. Meaning nearly everyone is accepted to the school despite their poor performance previously and honestly the fact that they should pursue another profession. This school is devaluing the architecture profession and especially the Bachelor of Architecture degree.

I recommend applying to either Cal Poly, UC Berkeley, or UCLA if you want quality education for a fair price. If price isn't an issue, Woodbury in San Diego or LA, CCA, or out of state are much better as evidenced by their faculty and student work. Remember, you are paying more in tuition then you would to go to Harvard, so don't make the decision in haste. Demand better!3 of 5 of the thesis professors here have no more than 2 years of experience and only 2 of the thesis professors are licensed. Good Luck!
