This is going to be my fourth year at ElCo; yeah, I'm one of those. I didn't really expect much coming to this school, so I wasn't drastically disappointed.

I got involved in as much as I could since my first year, that's how I made a lot of friend. So, social life wasn't as terrible for me. Most students who complain about there being no social life are the ones who expect to make friends in classrooms, which is not the case here. If you want to make friends get involved.

The faculty/staff was friendly to me overall. The only annoying thing was waiting in those long lines. The teachers were very approachable and helpful as well. This school was the best one near me, and it has been good to me, but I would have rather gone to Pasadena CC.

I'll admit El Camino is not the most exciting school in the world, but there's a lot of opportunity to be had there: cheap tuition (and a wide variety of scholarships), a surprisingly wide variety of classes, and teachers who are as good (if not better) as those employed at the four-year private school I currently attend. It's an inexpensive and invaluable way to finish part of your college education.

I did not enjoy El Camino at all. It was awful. I couldnt even finish there. I am an out of state student and was appalled at the system they have. I applied for financial aid in early July and just recieved the letter of award at the end of Febuary, because of that I didn't attend that semester and the award was pointless. The students that are surrounded by are diverse. Some are very bright while several are quite dull and only into their personal life. To many of the students there, school is a joke, something they feel they have to do not want to do. I didnt like this school at and I do not recommend it to anyone trying to earn an education.
