I am completing my first year as CSUSB, and I am very surprised at how much I like it here. I have been to four previous colleges and this is by far the best experience I've had. I live in Riverside and commute to the school, so I can't say much about the living on-campus experience, but I really enjoy my time there and appreciate the faculty. Everything seems organized and I never feel lost or unguided as CSUSB. I know the city of San Bernardino is not flashy or high-profile, but I've really learned to like it.

I love this school. It was either between a UC or CSU and I chose CSUSB, over UC san diego, and CSULB, and CPP.

Everyone is very nice and they are friendly. DORMS ARE AMAZING. Serrano village is ugly and is roach infested but University village is beautiful. This school is a commuter school but has a good social life too! Just meet friends and join groups!

I really have grown to love csusb as my college. At first, i have to admit, i was rather bored with the campus because the things to do are kind of hidden, but since ivve been here for 3 years ive defintiely found fun places to go here, and have made some friends that I will have for the rest of my life. If you go to school here.... there is a pub on campus in the student union, but then there are a few bars behind the school as well ( the wooden nickel, and the rustic inn). Kendell, the street over, has some kind of bad areas on it,but there are some nice areas on there too. make sure to go to castaways which is right down kendell... which is a greatttt restaurant, so nice and has the best view! Tiki hut is great too, which is right down university parkway in the ralphs parking lot!:) For all goooood food, go on hospitality, which has every restaurant known to man, but we have all the fast foods right near the campus:)
