| Quite Bright | I went to CSULA undergraduate and graduate. If you are friendly and positive then this is the school for you. If you are interested in getting drunk and partying, you may want to look at other options. There are so many things to look for in college life, I wish that the younger generation stops feeding into the misconception that you are supposed to go to college to "party". CSULA gives you the foundation for your future, if you are smart then you belong here and are serious about what you want in life then this is the school for you. | Education Quality: A, Useful Schoolwork: B | | | |

CSULA's nursing program is very respectable. Students who graduated from their program have an excellent passing score in their nclex. It is hard to get accepted to their nursing program because they only pick the most outstanding students. Hundreds of students either in-state or out-of-state from different community colleges applies yearly to their nursing program. However, only a handful will get accepted. This is due to limited seating versus overflowing number of applicants. I really dont know about their other programs, but I am heck 100% sure that CSULA's nursing program is one of the best out there. It even competes with UCLA or other private nursing institutions. Yeah, there are some negatives about this school but the campus is getting better. Just dont be one of those students who spend more time with their friends in campus than studying. Goodluck. | Education Quality: A, Campus Aesthetics: C

| Quite Bright | I have almost nothing positive to say about this school as I am close to my graduation. I have never been safe at this school. Remember, that this campus is located in East LA and is open to everyone. I've had guys try to pick fights with me in between classes, while studying in the library, while parking, etc. It's really terrible. It even rubs off on the girls, and they try to act belligerent as well. Not being on campus is the best choice I've made about the school. I don't even study in the school library- I go to coffee shops. If you do choose to go to this school, expect lots of attention-seeking coughing, spitting, throat-clearing, snorting, etc. during class. This is how people communicate with each other. Wow. And the employees at the school are just as terrible. I have to tone down any optimism or intelligence to speak to them, because if you were to appear happy, you will pay for it. This is one of the worst things about the school- all school employees are extremely passive-aggressive. If you were to blank you face and leave your mouth open, you would fit right in, and get your papers processed faster. Also, for some reason, there is a great deal of middle-aged old men on campus (perverts?) or driving around the parking lots. One time, an old guy followed me into the bathroom before I quickly left. Pretty ugly stuff. Also, there has been budget cuts, but for some reason, the school decided to build a new gym, gaming arcade, and pool hall. All while classes are cut, library hours are cut, etc. Way to go CSULA. I don't think there should be schools like this that reward these students. Because they become the people in the real world who you hate. They learn to dress like normal people to hide their flaws but are the same weird, obnoxious people who you try to avoid in life. | Faculty Accessibility: A, Collaboration/Competitive: F | | | |

| Not so bright |
I'm going to start saying that i have only been here for a quarter and i'm transferring as soon as possible. This is the most disorganized school i have ever encountered. I wonder what the people in the school offices do all day or if they know what they are doing. And with all the budget cuts, the school closes on alot of days including the library. The school is in the middle of nowhere. You cannot even find grocery store close by. Just take my word, this is the worst experience i had and i hope you all the best if you decide to come to this excuse of a school. | Perceived Campus Safety: C, Education Quality: F
